For some reason, it completely slipped my mind that Silly Monkey Crafts were having a DT call. On Friday morning I suddenly remembered… Slight panic ensued.

I absolutely love the Charlotte and Charlie stamps from Whiff of Joy, so decided to use this one of Charlotte carol singing for Nikki’s sketch.

Charlotte has been coloured using Copic markers, with white gel pen for highlights.

“Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!” was computer generated and printed, then cut out using the Nestabilities Rectangle dies.

The background paper is from the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding collection, and I have stamped and embossed it with one of the designs from Inkadinkado’s Winter Trails set.

Pearl brad from PaperMania, and I have a feeling the metal snowflake embellishment is also from a PaperMania set.

Edges have been distressed using the little tool from Stampin Up (I think Tonic also do one), and inked with Distress Ink in Antique Linen.

I took these photos in a slight hurry on Friday afternoon, so they don’t quite show how much this card sparkles – the thread I used for the stitching is a silver metallic mix, so when the light catches it the whole card sparkles beautifully.

I may add another couple of photos of this card tomorrow, to show the inside, which is also decorated.

Phew! More posts to come over the next week, with some creations using Elzybells stamps, Magnolia and more.
