Things I’m probably playing with
Who Am I?
I’m a stamper and paper‑crafter with a particular love for colouring. I’ve been experimenting with crafty pursuits since childhood, but rubber stamping and playing with paper are the ones that truly stuck. Around 2008 I discovered Copic markers, and colouring quickly became my favourite creative obsession.
Markers are still my “go to”, but I enjoy exploring different media and techniques, so you’ll see plenty of variety here on the blog. In 2024 I also rediscovered the joy of die cutting and ink blending.
I live in the South West of England with my partner Paul. In October 2019 we said goodbye to our beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Taika, who we miss every day. In October 2022 we welcomed Arthur, our gorgeous Staffy boy, who has been keeping us very busy ever since.
Alongside creating content for this site, I work with Stamping Bella — brainstorming new stamp ideas, preparing designs for manufacture, and creating colouring and video content.
Why “Marker Geek”?
Simple: I love markers, and I’m a bit of a geek about them (and in general). Stick around and you’ll see exactly what I mean.
From 2009 to 2015 I ran an online paper‑crafts store — a fantastic adventure that ultimately taught me I’m happiest creating and sharing, rather than packing orders for other people to play with.

How I work & who I work with
I would like to share with you some details on how I and this website work.
First and foremost, I want to be clear that I only work with companies and products that I love.
You will see a lot of Stamping Bella related content on this website. I am proud to have been the colourist for Stamping Bella since around 2014. At one time I coloured all of the images for the packaging inserts and website product images. Now I work for Stamping Bella coming up with ideas for new stamps and seeing them through to manufacture, providing customer service support, managing social media and marketing.
I currently also work with Sweet November Stamps as a member of their design team, mostly working with their clear stamp releases.
Here in the UK I also support two of our wonderful UK based online retailers. Firstly Dies to Die For. I do receive a discount against purchases, but select and purchase all of the products I use. I choose to link to them here as a reliable and trusted supplier of popular overseas brands here in the UK/Europe. I also support and link to Crafty Purple Frog as a reliable and trusted supplier of some favourite overseas brands.
In order to offset the costs of running the website and allow me to spend more time creating content to share with you I also sometimes participate in affiliate programs. Affiliate links incur no extra costs for you, but do give me a small commission when you use them to make purchases, and are a great way for you to support me in sharing with you at no cost to yourself. I only link to products and services that I use and value.
