I decided to ink up one of my old favourites for a family birthday card this weekend – Tilda in Dotty Wellies.
This card was a lot of fun to make, and I’m really pleased with the end result.
Tilda is coloured with Distress Inks, and her dress has been paper pieced.
All stitching is in a metallic gold embroidery thread.
Ribbon and beads from stash. Metal frame from SU’s Pewter HodgePodge Hardware set (now retired).
Stamps – Magnolia – Tilda, Elzybells – “Sister” text, Stampin Up – Baroque Motifs
Ink/Colouring – Versafine Onyx Black, Distress Inks, Sakura Souffle pens, Brillance Galaxy Gold, Brilliance Lightning Black.
Paper: Basic Grey “Sultry” 6×6 pad
I followed a sketch by Katharina for this card.
Hope you like it! All your comments are greatly appreciated, and thank you to everyone who has commented on my cards so far.
Also – Happy World Cardmaking Day everyone! I’m off to work on some more cards while watching films in the background. Bliss! Perfect weather for it too – wet and windy outside.
