Another Sugar Nellie card for you today, with one of the beautiful Elisabeth Bell stamps I received in my guest DT package.

I always enjoy creating scene cards (there will be more coming up soon), and this stamp is perfect for this, or of course, she works beautifully as an image in her own right.

I wanted to create the feeling that you are looking out of a window to see the little girl playing on the swing… So, I created depth by making a chipboard frame, and placing the layer with the scene behind that, then covered the frame in designer paper from the Basic Grey “Two Scoops” collection. I created a template for the curtains, and cut them from cardstock and Basic Grey paper.

The sky is from a Cosmo Cricket paper, the hills were cut freehand from green cardstock. The fence and leaves are Magnolia accessory stamps.

Stamps: “Rope Swing” from the Sugar Nellie Elisabeth Bell range, available at Funky Kits. Leaves and fence stamps from Magnolia Stamps.

CS/DP: Basic Grey – Two Scoops. Cosmo Cricket – can’t remember the collection details.

Ink/Colouring: Versafine Onyx Black. Ranger Detail Clear Embossing Powder. Distress Inks to colour image and ink edges of paper.

Embellishments: Flowers by Prima, Pearl Brads, Silver tone spacer beads.

Misc: Distressing tool and Pretties Kit from Stampin’ Up, via my Demo – Stampin’ Caz. Charm, heart beads and ribbon from stash. Martha Stewart Pine Branch punch.
