It was my turn to pick the colours for this week’s Copic Colour Challenge, and here’s what I came up with.
Remember – you don’t have to use all three colours, use as many as you like. In fact, if you don’t have any of the colours listed, simply use the closest ones you have. Feel free to mix mediums too, as long as you do use at least one Copic colour as close as you can to those specified.
Without further ado, my card for this week’s challenge!
I love this Whiff of Joy Princess Charlotte image, she’s a joy to colour. I followed a sketch from a few weeks ago on Friday Sketchers, created by the lovely Claudia. Great sketch, had lots of fun creating with it!
Princess Charlotte has, of course, been coloured using Copic Markers. As usual, you will find the full list of Copics used at the end of this post. She has also been cut out and popped up on foam pads for a bit of dimension.
The inside of the card features another Whiff of Joy image – the castle from the same collection. Again, coloured with Copic Markers and cut out and layered. The water has been covered with Glossy Accents.
The charm comes from Quixotic Paperie, and has been attached using a jumpring and some silver elastic cord. I’ve left this one as is, but it would look gorgeous with some small crystals added.
The stitching on this one has been done by hand (waiting impatiently for the replacement Sew Mini) using DMC embroidery thread.
Be sure to go and take a peek at the wonderful creations from the rest of the Copic Colour Challenge DT. We’d love to see your entries too, and the prize this week is a gift voucher for Quixotic Paperie, so get those Copics out!
If you haven’t already entered my candy draw, pop on over to this post and leave a comment. Closes at midnight on June 14th, so there’s still time to enter! Winner will be announced on June 15th.
