Today I created a card with the latest Just Magnolia challenge in mind. I also had Bev in mind when making this card – all her gorgeous pink/green cards recently must have inspired me!
Along with one of the recent scenery stamps, I’ve used one of my old favourite Tilda images for this card, and as the Just Magnolia challenge for this week is paper piecing, Tilda is sporting a lovely paper pieced dress. All colouring has been done with Copic Markers, and the list can be found at the end of this post. The flower in Tilda’s hair and her wings have been covered in Shimmerz for a little sparkle.
The colours on the background image turned out a little brighter than I wanted, and so I covered the image with a piece of vellum, to soften it a little.
The charm is one of the new butterflies from Quixotic Paperie, to which I have added some little coloured crystals.
The inside has been decorated as usual! All papers are from the DCWV Nana’s Nursery – Baby Girl 6×6 Stack. One of my favourite paper collections at the moment, so soft and pretty.
Thank you for all your comments and support! I will try and get around to visit everyone, so please bear with me!
