Sugar Nellie are one of my favourite stamp companies, they have such a great range of images. Although I think the Gorjuss girls are my favourites, I do have a soft spot for the Mary Hall stamp designs. As soon as I saw this one I knew I’d be getting it – two of the men in my family are obsessed with fishing.
This card is for my parents to give to my brother, who has been fishing since since well before I was born.
The image has been coloured using Copic Markers (no surprises there!), and as usual you will find the list of markers used at the end of this post.
Once again I’ve used one of the charms from my store – Quixotic Paperie – it didn’t feel right without a charm, and the Fish Bones charm was the most appropriate available!
The tag and message were created using some of the fab clear stamp sets from Elzybells.
I’ve also embellished this card with some buttons, stitched on using linen thread. Which brings me on to the latest news from Quixotic Paperie:
BUTTONS! I now have a host of gorgeous buttons from The Button Company in stock. You will love these.
They are all gorgeous, but I think, at least for now, Girls’ Night Out and Very Berry are my favourites.
The buttons come in 25g bags, which for most of them is around 30 buttons per bag (varies, as the buttons are different weights and sizes). Purplicious contains less as the buttons are a bit heavier. They are great value though, and I have no doubt you will be as delighted as I am!
Larger packs can be arranged, please email me to discuss requirements!
In addition to the 25g packs, I also have a shape mixture pack in 15g, and two different and equally lovely stacker selections. You can find them all in the shop!
More exciting goodies on the horizon, so keep checking back! Over the weekend/early next week I hope to have jump rings and hemp thread in stock for attaching those charms and buttons.
Finally, don’t forget to enter my blog candy draw, which ends at midnight on 14th June!
