Welcome to Day Five in our A Week of Whimsy feature.
For previous posts, please see: Day One — Day Two — Day Three — Day Four
An email landed in my inbox this morning with Rowena’s card for today. I had to laugh, as clearly we’ve been sharing brain cells. We’ve both used the brilliant Whimsy Hippo stamp, we’ve both used Raffia Lace and we’ve both used yummy Cosmo Cricket “Earth Love” papers.
Here’s my card:
Whimsy Hippo has been coloured using Copics, a list of which can be found right at the end of this post. The Raffia Lace has been threaded with some of the lovely Martha Stewart Ombre Ribbon. Crystals are from one of the great value Prima “e line” packs.
The leaves framing the main image were created by covering a piece of Kraft cardstock with Shimmerz Spritz “Olive Branch” (check out Kim’s fab Spritz Basics tutorial), and when dry, I used the Martha Stewart Frond Branch punch. Fab results and so very easy!
And here’s a peek at Rowena’s card – pop on over to her blog – CraftyPagan Designs – to check it out and leave her some love!
Thank you for joining us again, and stay tuned, tomorrow is the penultimate day in our feature – Day Six!
