So, the Elisabeth Bell for Susana’s Custom Art and Card Design stamps arrived at Quixotic Paperie over the weekend, and I HAD to play right away.

Of course, I had to ink Rian up first, since one of my other obsessions is dogs.  I’m a sucker for images featuring puppies and dogs in general, and Rian is just too adorable.

I’ve followed Claudia’s fab layout from this week’s Friday Sketchers challenge.

Rian has of course, been coloured with Copic Markers (list at the end of this post), and I’ve accented the details on her clothing with a Sakura Clear Stardust pen (essential for adding sparkle to small areas).

The papers used are from my firm favourite – My Mind’s Eye Wild Asparagus.  These papers are gorgeous, and really, with the muted tones, are perfect for Autumn projects.

The image has been cut out and matted using my personal favourite – Nestabilities Labels Nine – and I have followed Bev’s fab tutorial on I don’t know about anyone else, but while it had occured to me to trace around the dies to get different sizes, Bev’s method of getting the points to look right hadn’t quite dawned.  Thank you Bev!

The gorgeous Crochet Ribbon is also available at Quixotic Paperie.  I love this ribbon, it’s perfect for so many projects.  Another little addiction!

Because I’m now addicted, I covered the flowers in Shimmerz SugarPlum and Gold Glimmer.  The swirls behind the flowers were punched from Kraft cardstock using an EK Success punch, and then covered in Shimmerz SugarPlum.  The button is from the lovely My Mind’s Eye Wild Asparagus Button Box.
