Over on the Quixotic Paperie group on Paper Craft Planet there has been some chat about favourites.  Kim correctly guessed that my very favourite of the new Paper Makeup Stamps designs is Melissa Fairy, so in honour of Kim’s powers of deduction, here’s a card!

Since I can remember, one of my greatest loves has been reading.  I am a complete and utter bibliophile, from the classics to young adult literature, you name it.  My dream house would have two separate “me” rooms – a huge library room with floor to ceiling shelves and a gorgeous craft studio.  And I could fill both, easily.  My passion for crafts comes up just behind my passion for reading, and my passion for buying books.  That should give you some idea of how much hard work it is when we move house!

The papers I’ve used are My Mind’s Eye “Pretty Please”.  Such pretty, feminine designs.  Love the colours.  They are available in a 12×12 pack with a diecut accessories sheet and stickers here.

No surprises – Melissa has been coloured with Copics, and the list can be found at the end of this post.  I’ve accented her outfit with a Sakura Clear Stardust pen (available here), which is perfect for adding sparkle to tiny areas.  Her wings have been covered in Shimmerz “Angel Wings” (available here), which is one of my most used Shimmerz paints – perfect to cover any colour and add subtle shimmer.
