It’s time for another Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Challenge!
*** Stitch It Up! ***
This week we would like to see stitching on your projects, either faux or real!
As you can guess, this was an easy one for me, as the majority of my projects featuring stitching in some form.
I’ve created an easel card as Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps are sponsoring this week’s challenge over at Crazy 4 Challenges, and their challenge this week is…yep…to create an easel card! Another easy challenge for me, as I’m rather fond of this style of card at the moment, and they are so simple to make! If you haven’t had a go at an easel card yet, now is the perfect time!
The image I’ve chosen is from the adorable Crissy’s Cuties range – Ozzie & Harriet (available HERE in the UK) – I have chosen to use one of the fab sentiments from the huge Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps Holiday Sentiments set (available HERE in the UK), but the Ozzie & Harriet stamp comes with its very own sentiment!
Ozzie and Harriet have been coloured with Copics, and as usual the list is at the end of this post. I’ve also added some Stickles (available HERE) to Harriet’s hat to give a little sparkle to the image.
I’ve used my favourite Christmas papers – Basic Grey Wassail (available HERE) with Kraft cardstock to layer. The tree border has been punched out with a Martha Stewart punch from Kraft CS and covered in Shimmerz “Mossy Stone” (available HERE). For some gorgeous bling, I’ve cut up one of the yummy Prima Say It In Pearls Mixed Crystal flourishes in Cream (available HERE) and used it in opposite corners.
The bow has been created from satin ribbon using the fabulous Bow-Easy template (available HERE). Can’t. Stop. Making. Bows.
The poinsettia is one from my stash which has been covered in Twinklets for some gorgeous sparkle. Very effective, and totally inspired by the lovely Bev Rochester. In the centre of the flower is a Prima Sequin Centre (available HERE) which finishes it off perfectly!
I hope you’ll find time to join the challenge this week! And if you are lacking some of the fabulous Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps remember you can grab them from Quixotic Paperie here in the UK or direct from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps in Canada.
Make sure you go and check out the rest of the Design Team creations!
Finally, I’d like to let you know that Kimmie is looking for Guest Designers to come and play with the Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps DT! Check out the details HERE. The call ends on 21st November.
