Today’s card is both a preview for the new Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps release, and my card for the new Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps challenge!
This week’s challenge has been set by Crissy Armstrong, and the theme is “Touchy Feely”. Crissy would like to see varying textures on your cards! So, get distressing, embossing, Stickling, adding fibres etc etc!
My card uses one of Crissy’s adorable images from the new release, due out tomorrow! Let me introduce you to “Bonnie & Clyde”:
Bonnie & Clyde have been coloured with Copics. I added a little Glossy Accents to their noses for some shine (available HERE). They have been cut out using the fab Nestabilities Labels Seven set (available HERE). The edges of all the layers have been distressed using a distressing tool and Distress Inks. Then I added some SU grosgrain ribbon topped with a wooden heart shape (available HERE), which I airbrushed using my Copics. The papers are Cosmo Cricket “Nutmeg” (available HERE).
I’m not quite as much a fan of my card as I am of Crissy’s wonderful design with the same image! Check her colouring out – HERE – fantastic!
This adorable design will be available to order as of tomorrow (29th November) either direct from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, or for those of you in the UK/Europe, from me at Quixotic Paperie! There are three other new designs from Crissy, four fantastic new Moonlight Whispers girls, two stamps from a new illustrator and two fab sentiment sets designed by Jeanne Streiff!
Make sure you go and check out the rest of the designs from the DT for this week’s challenge. Hope you can find the time to join in – you could win the Bonnie & Clyde stamp!
