Today is the start of the tenth Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps challenge! Unbelievable!
This week my fab fellow Krafty Girl – Andrea – has set the challenge. She would like to see some sparkle on your creations, so get that glitter out, shake up and spritz out those Shimmerz and squeeze those Stickles!
I need some fairly quick Christmas cards, so I opted to use Oliver again (available HERE in the UK), and since I wanted to use the yummy Jolly By Golly papers (available HERE), I copied my own colouring from an earlier card. Nice and easy! For the layout I took inspiration from Claudia and her gorgeous WoJ card that can be found here.
I punched out the snowflakes from Kraft cardstock using the MS Himalayan Snowflake punch and a large Dovecraft punch. I then covered them in Shimmerz “Angel Wings” and “Mint” (available HERE), popped a crystal brad in the centre and tied the sentiment to it. The sentiment is from the fab Kraftin’ Kimmie Holiday Sentiments set (available HERE in the UK).
The edges of the Kraft cardstock layers have all been painted with Shimmerz in “Angel Wings” (available HERE) for some gorgeous sparkle.
Hope you like! Do pop over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps blog to check out the rest of the DT creations, and if you get chance, we’d love you to join in with us!
Just gorgeous, Elaine! I love Oliver and you have coloured him brilliantly! Your card is so shimmery and sparky I just love that wire pick with the gems on it. The snowflake is divine and ribbon is scrumptious! Have a great weekend, hun!
