Wednesday again!  Time for another Quixotic Challenge.

This time, Rowena has set the challenge.  She has asked us all to create…

*** Something For Mum ***

Create a card, project or gift for Mum!

Quite a handy one, if you’d like to get ahead with projects for Mother’s Day next month (if you’re in the UK), or an upcoming birthday, or just because!  You could even put a little twist on it, and create a project for a new mum!

As I’m desperately trying to get ahead of myself this year (and I’m not doing too badly so far), I decided to take the opportunity to create a card to give to my Mum this Mother’s Day (it’s ok, she doesn’t read my blog).

Penny Johnson - Butterfly Bear - available at www.quixoticpaperie.co.uk

I’ve used one of the sweet bear stamps from Penny Johnson’s Stampavie range: Butterfly Bear (available HERE).  So very cute, and a breeze to colour.  I’ve teamed him up with some Basic Grey papers, and ribbons from my stash.  The bow has of course been tied using my Bow-Easy template (available HERE).  I’ve added a Flower Charm (available HERE) and a Butterfly Charm (available HERE).
