As promised, here I am with a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps preview for you!
The new release will be available to order on Sunday 11th April 2010. If you’re in the US/Canada then you’ll want to grab them from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps direct, or if you’re in the UK/Europe, I will have them all in stock and ready to go as of Sunday morning over at Quixotic Paperie!
For my card, I’ve used two of Annie Rodrigue’s fabulous new Moonlight Whispers images – Sir Galahad and Dexter the Dragon. Yep, Annie has gone all Medieval this month, which I couldn’t be happier about!
You’ll notice that there is no stitching on this card, I simply thought it would look better without. Of course now, I’m not sure. Hah!
I’ve used one of my long neglected Magnolia accessory stamps – the tree, and…shock horror, I drew in the background using one of my Copic multiliners. Then I cursed myself, because colouring in all that green was most certainly a labour of love… Good grief. The sky was airbrushed with Copics, and to create the clouds I stamped a cloud onto masking tape, cut it out ( x 3) and stuck it on the background before airbrushing. Then I went around the edges of the clouds using W00 and W1 Copics to soften the effect a little.
Inside, I’ve used one of the new Tim Holtz dies just to give a little detail, and I’ve cut out Dexter the Dragon and popped him in the lower corner. Isn’t he fab?
Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E95 Hair: E1, E17, E18 Outfit & Sword: C1, C3, C5, R22, R24, R27, R28, Y21, Y26, Y28
Airbrushed BG: B00 Clouds: W00, W1, Grass: G0000, G82, G85, G21, G24, G28 Ground: E57, W1, W2, W00
Dragon: G20, G21, G24, G28 Tree: G20, G21, G24, G28, G82, G85, E53, E55, E57, E59

Wow! Amazing, Elaine! I love everything about your card and I think it is perfect without the stitching (which I always love on your cards!). I just wonder how long it took you to make such a fabulous card… 🙂 Hugs Delphine xx
