Wednesday is upon us once more! Good job we’ve got another Quixotic Challenge to distract us from the rapid passing of the days!
This week I have set the challenge, and I want you to….
*** Make A Splash ***
Create a card/project featuring water as a theme in some way (think sailing stamps, pirates, pond scenes, umbrellas etc)
I’ve chosen to use one of the fantastic Paper Makeup Stamps sailing themed fairies for my card, along with one of the awesome Paper Makeup Stamps word art designs. To say I love them is an understatement!
This fairy is Eric (and if fairy wings don’t do it for you, they can easily be masked off or cut off – ouch!) and he’s available HERE. I’ve coloured him with Copics, and used a Sakura gel pen for the buttons on his blazer.
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20, R21, R22 Hair: E31, E35 Outfit: B93, B95, B97, B99, Y21, Y26, Y28, C1, C4, C6, C8 Barrel: E31, E35, E57, E59, Y21, Y26, Y28
The sentiment/word art stamp is from the Paper Makeup Stamps Sailing Word Art set available HERE.
Papers are Basic Grey “Granola” available HERE. Those Bazzill Basics Jewel Templates wandered across my desk again, so I’ve used Mystical Flourishes on the top corner – available HERE!
FYI – I’ve got a big order on the way from Paper Makeup Stamps, so watch out for some new and fabulous fairies, monsters, sentiments and more very soon! In the meantime, you can check out the current range HERE.
That’s all from me. Pop on over to the Quixotic Challenges blog and see what the other DT members have got to show you!
