This is the first of my previews of the new and utterly gorgeous Sweet November stamps designed by Amy Young for C.C. Designs. These might just be my favourites yet!
The new stamps will be available in both rubber and digi, and will be available from All That Scraps at 10:00pm EDT on 7th June (those of you in the UK/Europe will also find the rubber stamps over at Quixotic Paperie on 7th June).
My first creation is a little different to what you might normally expect to see here. It isn’t quite as I pictured it, but I think it works ok! You can definitely see how gorgeous the image is!
This lovely mermaid is Fathom Calmsea. That’s one of the things I love about Amy’s Sweet November range – the names. They are all so evocative of a wonderful and inviting fantasy world. I’m either going to frame this for my craft space, turn it into a hanger, or use it as part of a journal. Decisions, decisions!!
The image is coloured with Copics, of course!
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E01, E02, R20, R21, R22 Hair: E50, E53 Tail: RV0000, RV00, RV21, RV23 Etc: Y32, Y38, B0000, B52, G0000, G82, G85
And here’s a pic to show the shimmer on the background. I created the background using Distress Inks and Shimmerz Spritz – a bit of a first for me! The sentiment is from a Hero Arts stamp set and in real life it doesn’t look wonky!!!
That’s it for now! Pop on over to Amy’s blog and see what she’s been up to!! I’ll be back tomorrow with another peek at the new release!

Elaine, this is gorgeous! I love your coloring and you are so lucky to be one of the Sweet November girls (& Amy’s lucky to have you too)! I have to say that although Fathom is stunning, my favorite part of this is the ‘ocean.’ Great job on creating it — I’m going to have to copy! 🙂
