This week’s Bellariffic Friday challenge was a sketch from me! Can’t wait to check out what everyone has done with it.
I desperately needed to have some creative fun this week, so on my card I have used a fab Mo Manning image – CHOIR WITH A STAR ON TOP (available in the UK at Quixotic Paperie).
This was so much fun to colour! I knew I had to use this image after I saw Lindabella’s gorgeous card. I’ve mentioned before that she’s one of my colouring idols, right? She and Paulabella have a lot to answer for when it comes to my stamp and colouring medium collections… So anyway, the colouring on my card was Linda-inspired. I haven’t listed the Copics used, but if you have any questions, just ask in the comments section and I will do my best to answer!
Speaking of fantabulous Bellariffic Babes. Have you seen the latest additions to the team? Another of my colouring and general papercrafting idols – Kim Teasdale. If you aren’t familiar with Kim’s work, take an afternoon and check out her blog archives. SERIOUSLY. And Bellariffic Videographer Ebru Vatansever. SO MUCH FUN! I become ever more convinced that I need to relocate to Canada.
The paper used on my card is from last year’s Magnolia Christmas collection. I embellished with yummy Metallic Gold Crochet Ribbon and Chocolate 8mm Flatback Pearls.
NEXT WEEK’S BELLARIFFIC FRIDAY THEME: This is a fun little recipe given to us by Kim Teasdale!! 1-2-3. ONE image, TWO papers and THREE embellishments!
Get your cards using this recipe (and a Stamping Bella stamp of course), emailed to Em at Stamping Bella by Thursday evening. You could win some Bella Bucks you know!
