I’m a day late, which about sums things up at the moment, at least as far as creative projects and housework go!
The November challenge at Quixotic Challenges is now up, and we’re asking to see projects that are neither square nor rectangular! So, make a shaped card or an altered project, as long as it isn’t square or rectangular! Pop on over to the Quixotic Inspirations Blog to check the challenge out and see the rest of the gorgeous DT creations.
My make for this challenge is pretty simple – I’ve used one of my Nestabilities dies to make a shaped tag! I’m hoping to make a few of these using Mo Manning images for this year’s Christmas gifts. Since they are tags, I’m not planning on using images that take too long to colour – like this BUNNY WITH A GIFT available in rubber from Stamping Bella, which is pretty quick to colour really (unless you really want to go to town on that fur). I’m thinking A Snowman and a Cardinal for another quick image to colour!
BUNNY WITH A GIFT is also available from Quixotic Paperie in the UK along with the other Mo Manning for Stamping Bella stamps. Or, if you’re more digitally inclined you can get it from Mo’s Digital Pencil Too store!
I added a delicate layer of glitter to the ground, and on that topic, you should definitely check out Paulabella’s tutorial on adding gorgeous glittery accents to your images! Paula’s Glitter Tutorial Part 1 & Paula’s Glitter Tutorial Part 2.
Coloured with Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils for the background shading.
See you tomorrow for Bellariffic Friday and another Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps preview! Phew…
