Well, I’ve had a little break from DT responsibilities, but now April has landed, it’s back to it!
Today is of course, Friday, and what does that mean? BELLARIFFIC FRIDAY!
Lots of news in Bellaland, so make sure you pop over and get up to speed with BLOGGABELLA to catch up! One important bit of news – we have a few new awesome Bellariffic Babes! SO exciting. A huge welcome to JESSABELLA, TAMMYBELLA and ROBINBELLA!
So, this week the theme was to create a card featuring POLKA DOTS. We all know DA BELLA loves polka dots!
I used one of the super cute stamps from the new FUNKY RECIPE ICONS set. There are four little stamps in this set, and I LOVE them. They coordinated with the FUNKY RECIPE CARD stamp, but I think they are great to use for cards/notes.
I coloured the cups up with Copics and then added my polka dot design using a white gel pen. Done!
Paper is from the Basic Grey Hello Luscious pad available here in the UK at Quixotic Paperie. Stamping Bella also has a selection of Basic Grey papers in stock!
Copics:
REDS: R0000, R43, R36 + added E57 in shadow areas for depth BLUE/GREENS: BG0000, BG32, BG34 + added E43 to shadow areas for depth EARTH TONES: E40, E41, E43
BELLARIFFIC THEME FOR APRIL 8TH: Monochromatic! We want to see your monochromatic cards and projects. Go get inky and get a pic of your card to Emily by Thursday 7th April and you could win some Bella Bucks!
