Thanks to everyone who dropped by yesterday on my WOYWW post! To answer a couple of comments – the PC tower will definitely be going on the floor, and no way I’d be having anything other than a flatscreen! Gotta have space for colouring! I still haven’t decided what to do with those Gorjuss Girls, think the old mojo may be taking a sneaky break…
This card was an unusual one for me, but it was definitely fun to do! Yep, that’s right – not a stamp in sight!
I used a Marianne Designs Creatables die – LR0132, a couple of chipboard flourishes from a Make It Crafty Lasercut Chipboard pack painted with Twinkling H20s, a couple of Quickutz dies I had gathering dust, a button and some Divine Twine. Papers are Echo Park – Springtime (available in 12×12 or 6×6, I used the 12×12), the edges of which I inked with Distress Ink. The lettering was done using Doodlebug rub-ons.
I’m not giving up my Copics or my stamps just yet, but I may just slip one of these in now and then for fun!
Hi Elaine. I really love this card. The Echo Park papers are lovely! very different for you but stunning all the same. Can’t wait to see what you make with those stunningly coloured GG’s! I’ve been inking them up all week myself. Might also have to get the one with the hat now I’ve seen yours coloured up. xx Jenny xx
Everytime I make a card I forget about a sentiment….everytime….then I have to squeeze one in somwhere… I wonder if I thought about a sentiment first I would be able to make a card without a stamp..lol..This is really pretty. Lovely papers…
Luv CHRISSYxx
That’s very different for you Elaine – and I love it!!! Great use of the DPs and space!
