I meant to post this card on Sunday. Then I meant to post it yesterday. That pretty much sums up my brain at the moment, filled as it is with lots of tedious and moderately stressful stuff. *sigh* On top of that, Miss Brain of Britain here decided it would be smart to move some heavy furniture around on Tuesday, then get the heavy carpet cleaner out on Wednesday. My aching neck, shoulders and back would disagree, strongly.
Anyway, here I am today, finally sharing! Those of you that keep an eagle eye on Bloggabella will already have seen this, but I’m sure you won’t mind taking a second peek. 😉
Is she not delicious? And that cake…while colouring I had to email Em stating that it would be very much her fault if I succumbed to the resulting craving and purchased a cake. This fabulous new Uptown Girl stamp will be released on Monday over at Stamping Bella, and yep you will be seeing her (and her friends) stocked over at Quixotic Paperie soon!
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.
The designer papers are from an older Black Market Paper Society pad I’ve had lurking around in my stash for a while. I accented a couple of the corners with my most used (so far) MFT Die-Namics die set – Photo Corners.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another card to share, and hopefully feeling less achy!
Oh dear – I haven’t used all the last ones yet, but you know I’m going to have to have these ones too now don’t you! I love, love LOVE this one!!!!

Fabulous colouring as usual. Love all the Up Town girls, guess I’ll be paying Quixotic Paperie another visit shortly.
OMGosh – this is gorgeous! The cake looks so real – beautiful colouring Elaine. Can’t wait for the release.
Oh Elaine she is fabulous – love the colours you chose- I must have her!!
[…] already posted a card featuring one of the new Uptownies – Bianca and Her Big Cake (of course Em originally told me her name was Beverly…but I think Bianca works well too!). […]
