It has been a pretty exciting week. On Wednesday we rushed off to London to see our gorgeous new niece – Sophia – who was born at half past seven that morning! She is absolutely lovely, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing her again at Christmas. I’ve also been having a lot of fun shopping for baby gifts. 😉
Today is of course, Bellariffic Friday, and I’ve got another Christmas card to share! Apart from a couple of special family cards I am now pretty much done! This is definitely a first. Normally I have four or five cards left to make on 23rd December and end up burning the midnight oil. Most of the Christmas gifts have also been ordered now, so fingers crossed I could potentially be all done with card making and gift wrapping by the end of next week. That would be a novelty.
So, here is my card for today, following the sketch we were given last week. I used the adorable Mister Penguin Helps Ramona, is he not the cutest? (stamp is available in the UK from Quixotic Paperie)
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers.
Papers are from an older Echo Park kit. Stickers are Tim Holtz Chit Chat. The snowflakes are from a Make it Crafty Lasercut Chipboard pack.
NEXT WEEK’S CHALLENGE: Simply – create a tag! You could create a tag on its own, or create a tag and add it to a card! Email your entries to Emily at Stamping Bella by the end of Thursday 6th December to be in with a chance of winning some Bella Bucks.
PLUS there’s another chance to win $25 Stamping Bella gift vouchers with our Anything Goes challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers – check out the info here! Use keyword BELLANOV2012 when uploading to the SCS gallery and get your pics uploaded by midnight EST on 10th December.
This is SO sweet – I love Ramona and you did a super job on this! Love the snow and your shading on her coat and scarf – gorgeous! Please tell me how you did that lovely blue sky? Surely you didn’t mask that whole image? If you did, you’re more amazing than I thought? It is sponged? sprayed?
