Whoo! Friday is here again. I’m pretty thrilled to see Friday this week, not least because tonight I get to go out for dinner. No wine for me though, as I’m on antibiotics. Boo. In good news, I think the antibiotics are working *fingers crossed*.
Today is the first Bellariffic Friday of 2013, and we had a sketch to follow. Perfect sketch for me, as it allowed me to indulge my little obsession with cropping Uptown Girls images. Muahaha!
My card today features Uptown Girl Bianca and her big humongous cake. Yum! I also dug out one of my favourite sentiments, which seemed perfect.
Stamping Bella Uptown Girls are available in the UK at Quixotic Paperie, and the latest release will be joining the range soon!
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers (details below). As with my card from yesterday I used some old Crate Paper designer paper that I’ve been hoarding for years. 2013 is definitely the year of using, not hoarding! I used Spellbinders Circles dies and MFT Die-Namics Fishtail Flags and Fishtail Flags Layers STAX dies. I used a white acrylic paint dabber on the edges of all layers.
