Those of you who have me on your FaceBook friends list may already have seen the coloured image on today’s card. For those of you that haven’t, a little background! I challenged my friend Zoe from Make it Crafty to colour the Opera Singer from her recent “Entertainers” release, using the “No Lines” technique. After realising it was a fairly tough challenge, I decided it was only fair if I also took a stab at it!
I used the digital version, but the Make it Crafty Opera Singer is available in rubber from Quixotic Paperie, along with the other fantastic Entertainers stamps. I didn’t use it on my card, but the rubber stamp comes with the perfect accompanying sentiment.
Excuse the photo – I really need to sort out my lighting (and probably go back to using my camera instead of my phone 😉 ). The coloured image shown on the marker info pic below is more accurate as it was scanned in.
I printed the image on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Markers (available in the UK from Jackson’s Art Supplies).
Quit showing me these markers will you!! 😉 if I said this is fantastic, it wouldn’t do you or Opera Singer Justice. I’ve literally just finished my first attempt at no lines colouring. I think I’m gonna put it in the bin… Hope all is ok there. X
I’ve actually had this page open on the pooter all day and keep coming back to it…
