Today I’ve got another Make it Crafty card and colouring video to share with you! I know, these colouring videos are like buses… 😉
A lot of people have asked me to create more colouring videos over the past few years. I’m now at a point where I am able to do more colouring and be able to shoot footage of that colouring. In order to be able to share videos along with the other colouring inspiration and information I have been posting, I am currently sharing “speed colouring” videos. These videos are sped up because I’m sure watching videos of me faffing with an image for over an hour might be more sleep inducing than inspiring. 😉 I’m not currently adding commentary to the videos, but I will do so in future, from time to time. In the meantime, I hope you will just enjoy checking out the colouring process.

The Details:
My card and video today feature Make it Crafty – Aleisha. She is available in both digital and rubber stamp formats (linked below). I have used the digital image printed at the same size as the rubber stamp image.
Digital Image: Aleisha at Make it Crafty
Rubber Stamp: Make it Crafty Aleisha at Quixotic Paperie
Aleisha was printed on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring using Copic markers. Details on markers used are available below as a pinnable Copic Marker Colour Palette.
I coloured Aleisha’s hair and skin in a slightly different way than I normally do and tried to be a little looser with it. I’m not completely satisfied, but it worked fairly well!
I created the frame around Aleisha with Spellbinders Grand Circles and Grand Scalloped Circles Nestabilities dies, and pearlescent white cardstock which I coloured with Copics to coordinate with the image. Those flat back gems make an appearance again this time in a larger size – I will use them all up! I also used Wink of Stella Clear Glitter brush pen on the card base for some extra sparkle which you can’t actually tell from the photo.
