It’s Day 5 of the 30 Day Colouring Challenge!
Read on to see my latest colouring along with a flashback to 2009 and a Copic Marker Colour Palette. Oh and another random photo of my dog. 😉
The Waffle:
We haven’t quite had the rain that was forecast, but it has definitely been more of an “indoors on the sofa” day today. I don’t think Miss Pig has been too put out though.
I was definitely a little put out this morning. Seems like the flu is having a final chuckle at my expense by setting off a bout of inner ear trouble. Thankfully the dizziness and nausea have subsided enough to let me do some colouring. I was quite sad thinking I might have to forego the day’s colouring.

The Challenge:
When you’re done checking out my post, make sure you pop on over to Kathy’s blog The Daily Marker to get all the challenge info and join in with the fun. Kathy has posted an adorable and pretty card today. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend subscribing to Kathy’s blog for lots of fun colouring and card-making inspiration.
My Day Five Colouring:
Flashback Time:
I have had this fun stamp in my collection for quite some time now. I do love a good monster stamp. I first coloured Argus with Teddy back in 2009, and here’s a look at the card I created then so you can compare my colouring to today’s effort in 2015!
Quite a difference, no? I hope this will remind you that it’s all about practice and developing your abilities and style over time. I wonder what my colouring will look like in another 5 or 6 years!
The Details:
The stamp I used is Argus with Teddy from Paper Makeup Stamps. The Paper Makeup Stamps range is unfortunately no longer in production in rubber. I do still have some in stock over in my UK store though: Paper Makeup Stamps – Monsters. For those of you that prefer digi, you can still buy Argus in digi form direct from Paper Makeup Stamps.
I stamped Argus with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring with Copic Markers.
Copic Marker Colour Palette:
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have enjoyed today’s post as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.
