Today sees the start of another round of the 30 Day Colouring Challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin of The Daily Marker. I enjoyed the first session of this challenge so much (see my posts here) that I have been excited to get started again, especially given the perfect timing this time around!
Read on to see my colouring for today and to get a full Copic Colour Palette to go with it!
Waffle:
When Kathy announced that she would be hosting another session of the 30 Day Colouring Challenge over on her blog The Daily Marker, I decided it would be the perfect time to start working on using some of the stamps I have been letting gather dust. It also seemed like a fun idea to concentrate on one section of my collection in particular. So, for the next 30 days I plan on colouring every day using my Copic markers and my collection of The Greeting Farm stamps!
I don’t plan to commit to creating cards with these images at this point, I just want to make sure I have fun colouring every day. While there won’t be cards for these posts there will be Copic Marker Colour Palettes each day to go with the coloured image.
There will be additional posts here a couple of days a week as I do have some cards to create and share using other images, so look out for those too!

Stamp Details:
The stamp I coloured today is an old one from a 2010 The Greeting Farm stamp kit – Spotlight.
I stamped this image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers).
Sadly I think the stamp kit has been retired for a while, but you may still be able to find it via eBay or the buy/sell/trade area of forums like Splitcoast Stampers. I just couldn’t resist colouring her, so I hope that even if you can’t find her you can at least take a little inspiration from the Copic Colour Palette below!
I did use a few coloured pencils over the marker work to smooth out areas where my markers went a little sticky and also to add in a little extra detail. I have added the pencils used on the palette below.
I previously coloured this image back in 2010 (it really doesn’t seem like 5 years have gone by) and you can see the card I created then HERE. It’s fun to compare how different my colouring looks now and see the list of Copics I used back in 2010.
