Read on to see my card for today featuring one of Stamping Bella’s fun cute and quirky Hoppy Poppy stamps.
Waffle:
I’ve got another fun Stamping Bella “Hoppy Poppy” card to share today. Just love that little bunny with her exaggerated features, look at that great big infectious smile! Not a bad way to start the week. 🙂
If you missed my posts last week you can see more Hoppy Poppy cards by clicking HERE.

The Clean & Simple Card:
IÂ used a sentiment from another stamp company, but this stamp does come with its own adorable sentiment which reads “hi”.
Stamp & Other Details:
US and International readers: you can find Nice to Meet You Hoppy Poppy and the rest of the Hoppy Poppy range direct at Stamping Bella (shipping is from the US).
UK/European readers: the very latest Stamping Bella releases can now be found at Make the Day Special here in the UK. Tara doesn’t currently have older designs like Hoppy Poppy in stock, but I know that she does plan to in future, so if you want to see this stamp or others from the Stamping Bella range included, drop Tara a line via her website. I highly recommend Tara’s store for the speedy dispatch and awesome customer service.
I stamped Hoppy Poppy with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers) before colouring with Copic Markers. The sentiment was stamped with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink using a stamp from the Mama Elephant Honey Bunny stamp set available here in the UK at Make the Day Special.
To die cut the image layer and create my card I used Lil’ Inker Designs Stitched Mats Rounded Rectangles dies, available here in the UK from Make the Day Special. I coloured the mat layer with red ink and added some hearts with gold ink through a stencil.
I create my own card blanks using a Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer *, a Martha Stewart Scoring Board * and bone folder * (I don’t like the plastic scoring tools, I use a bone folder and have had mine for several years).
Colouring Die Cuts with Copic Markers:
To add some pretty little details to the card I used a Penny Black die with my Make it Colour Blending Card so that I could colour the die cuts with Copic markers. I love doing this, it’s a great way to get more fun and use out of your dies. You can see previous examples of how I use Copic markers with die cuts HERE, HERE and HERE.
Copic Marker Colour Palette:
If you purchase or already own the Stamping Bella “Nice to Meet You Hoppy Poppy” stamp, you can obtain a free Copic Colour Map from Emily at Stamping Bella showing how I coloured it. See HERE for details.
