Tiddly Inks - Berry Sweet Wryn Card & Copic Marker Colour Palette - www.markergeek.com

Read on to see my card for today featuring a sweet Tiddly Inks character stamp and a Copic Marker Colour Palette to go with it.

Waffle:

I’ve been on an organisational mission recently which included tackling the overflowing box of coloured images. You may have gathered that for me, colouring takes precedence over card-making and that box was testament to the fact! In an effort to get more cards created to share with you, I decided it was time to get to work on emptying the box.

I coloured the image on today’s card quite a while ago. Thanks to my Instagram feed I can actually pinpoint the date as being a week before I came down with flu back in February! Good times. 😉 She definitely wasn’t the oldest image in the box though… tsk tsk.

The Card:

Tiddly Inks - Berry Sweet Wryn Card & Copic Marker Colour Palette - www.markergeek.comI love Wryn, she’s so cute and fun to colour. Plus I may have mentioned before I have a thing for toadstools so this stamp set definitely ticks my boxes. 😉

If I had coloured this image more recently I would probably have coloured a more defined cloudy sky. You can see how I like to colour a basic cloudy sky with Copic Markers HERE.

Stamp & Other Details:

The image on my card is from the Tiddly Inks Berry Sweet clear 3″x4″ stamp set (also available as a digital stamp set).

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers) before colouring with Copic Markers (see below for Copic Marker Colour Palette).

To die cut the image layer and create my card I used the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangles Lawn Cuts die set. I added the sentiment from a Hero Arts clear sentiment set (CL129) using Versafine Onyx Black ink and Ranger Clear Detail Embossing Powder. The card is A6 in size.

I create my own card blanks using a Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer *, a Martha Stewart Scoring Board * and bone folder * (I don’t like the plastic scoring tools, I use a bone folder and have had mine for several years).
