Read on to see my card for today featuring one of Stamping Bella’s quirky Hoppy Poppy stamps!
Waffle:
I created this card a while ago, but just never got around to sharing it here. I have a few others yet to be shared so I will be giving them their moment in the spotlight this week while I get on with some serious colouring behind the scenes preparing some more fun stuff to share!
If you want to keep an eye on what I’m colouring, follow me over on Instagram where I will no doubt be sharing peeks at the colouring I’m doing along with other day to day snaps.
The Clean & Simple Card:
Isn’t she sweet? Love this quirky little bunny.
Stamp & Other Details:
US and International readers: you can find Thank You Hoppy Poppy and the rest of the Hoppy Poppy range direct at Stamping Bella (shipping is from the US). The best thing is, she’s 20% off for the whole of July 2015!
UK/European readers: the very latest Stamping Bella releases can now be found at Make the Day Special here in the UK. Tara doesn’t currently have older designs like Thank You Hoppy Poppy in stock, but I know that she does plan to in future, so if you want to see this stamp or others from the Stamping Bella range included, drop Tara a line via her website. I highly recommend Tara’s store for the speedy dispatch and awesome customer service.
I stamped Hoppy Poppy with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers) before colouring with Copic Markers. The sentiment was stamped with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink using a Lawn Fawn stamp which I cut apart.
To die cut the image layer and create my card I used Lil’ Inker Designs Stitched Mats Rounded Rectangles dies, available here in the UK from Make the Day Special. I stamped the mat layer with a My Favorite Things background stamp in red ink and coloured the flower centres with a Copic marker.
I create my own card blanks using a Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer *, a Martha Stewart Scoring Board * and bone folder * (I don’t like the plastic scoring tools, I use a bone folder and have had mine for several years). On this one I also used a Zutter Corner Rounder to round the top corners.
Copic Marker Colour Palette:
If you purchase or already own the Stamping Bella “Thank You Hoppy Poppy” stamp, you can obtain a free Copic Colour Map from Emily at Stamping Bella showing how I coloured her. See HERE for details.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have enjoyed today’s post as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.
Pop back tomorrow to see another fun Stamping Bella card design!

Oh hunny, I have so enjoyed seeing your daily colourings, even if I haven’t always been able to comment. I love this little cutie and am in awe of how you have managed to get so much detail with your shading into such a tiny area! Small, yes, simple, yes, sweet, ever so, awesome, most definitely! Hugs xx
