Read on to see my card for today featuring one of the gorgeous new Tiny Townie stamps from Stamping Bella!
Waffle:
Yesterday I posted a fun little step by step tutorial showing you how to create a simple cloudy sky background. Click the banner below to be taken to that post!
The Card:
Stamp & Other Details:
This adorable stamped image is from Stamping Bella’s latest release. She is from the new “Tiny Townie” range created by the same illustrator as the “Uptown Girls”. Like many of the Stamping Bella stamps Blossom does come with a sentiment which reads “birthday girl”.
US and International readers: you can find Tiny Townie Blossom loves Balloons and the rest of the new stamps direct at Stamping Bella (shipping is from the US).
UK/European readers: you can now find Tiny Townie Blossom loves Balloons and the other latest Stamping Bella releases at Make the Day Special here in the UK. I highly recommend Tara’s store for the speedy dispatch and awesome customer service.
I stamped this image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers).
I kept the card very simple and simply trimmed the image using my Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer *. I created a mat for the image by trimming some of my MiC card to size and colouring the visible edges with a Copic Marker to coordinate with my image. You can see how I do this in my Stamping Bella Savannah Christmas Card blog post.
Copic Colouring Information:
If you want to find out the details of the Copic markers I used to colour this particular image, when you purchase the stamp from Stamping Bella or any retailer you can get a free Colour Map with all the marker details broken down for you. These are available for all of the newest images, and many of the older ones too.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have enjoyed today’s post as much as I enjoyed creating it for you. I really hope that you find the little step by step tutorial helpful. If you do, please share a link to your own colouring in the comments section or tag me over on Instagram (@markergeek) I’d love to see!
Pop back tomorrow to see another example of this cloudy sky background on another cute clean and simple card.
