Read on to see my card for today featuring a sweet “Greeting Fairy” from Tiddly Inks along with a full Copic Marker Colour Palette for the image!

Waffle:

I’m a big fan of Tiddly Inks stamps, and am so happy to count owner and illustrator Christy Croll among my friends. Christy drew the image for my “Marker Geek” logo for me, and has been wonderfully supportive and a complete delight to work with over the years.

I first came across Christy’s work when she worked with Stamping Bella (one of my first and most enduring stamping loves) and my love for her style was rekindled when I was on the Make it Crafty design team, as we collaborated with Tiddly Inks on some fun releases.

Enough reminiscing from me, on to the card!

Stamp & Other Details:

I used the Tiddly Inks 3″x4″ clear stamp set – Willow the Greeting Fairy on my card. You can also get this set as a digital version: Tiddly Inks digital stamp set – Willow the Greeting Fairy.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers) before colouring with Copic Markers.

To create my card I used a die set I fell in love with late last year (see my Halloween themed post HERE): Mama Elephant Peek-a-Frame Creative Cuts. I cut the die set apart and omitted the window frame element for this card. The outer portion was coloured using a pink Copic marker to coordinate with my image as demonstrated in my blog post HERE.

I used a sentiment from Mama Elephant Tandem Extras together with the coordinating die to add the little “Hello” greeting to the bottom of the frame.

I create my own card blanks using a Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer *, a Martha Stewart Scoring Board * and bone folder * (I don’t like the plastic scoring tools, I use a bone folder and have had mine for several years).
