Read on to see my card for today featuring a fun “oldie but goodie” image from Paper Makeup Stamps along with a Copic Marker Colour Palette.
Waffle:
Paper Makeup Stamps were one of the first companies I stocked in my online retail store (which closed this June). I’ve always been very fond of them and have many favourites remaining in my rubber and digital collections. Although the company is no longer producing rubber or actively releasing new images, you can still buy the digital stamps via their website, I’ll supply a link to the digital version of the image on my card down below.

Stamp & Other Details:
The image I used is still available as a digital stamp: Paper Makeup Stamps – Jerry.
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers) before colouring with Copic Markers.
To create my card I used My Favorite Things DieNamics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banners dies, popped up with foam pads. I added a hole in the top centre with my Crop-A-Dile * and tied some silver elastic thread through it.
The lovely sentiment is from the Wplus9 Party Animal stamp set which I stamped directly on to the card base with Versafine Onyx Black ink * before heat embossing with Clear Detail Embossing Powder *.
The card is approximately A6 in size.
I create my own card blanks using a Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer *, a Martha Stewart Scoring Board * and bone folder * (I don’t like the plastic scoring tools, I use a bone folder and have had mine for several years).
Copic Colouring Tutorial:
Last month I posted a fun little step by step tutorial showing you how to create a simple cloudy sky background. Click the banner below to be taken to that post! I used the same method to create the background in today’s card.
