#thedailymarker30day Colouring Challenge:
If you read my post earlier in the week, you’ll be aware that I am joining in with the latest session of Kathy Racoosin’s #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge. As always it is proving to be great fun, especially over on Instagram.
For those of you that haven’t been following over on Instagram, I have set up a separate page here on my blog to gather all my colouring challenge colouring, along with Copic Colour Maps for each image and links to colouring videos for them (so far I’ve managed a video each day, but no promises that I will keep that up for the full 30 days)!
Check the page out here: #thedailymarker30day Colouring Challenge July-Aug 2016.
Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Dorothy the Dreamer Card:
Stamp: Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Dorothy the Dreamer.
Love this image. Totally me when I was younger, and still is now actually! Well, if you swap the floofy skirt for jeans or leggings. 😉
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Make it Colour Blending Card (my favourite for colouring with Copic and other alcohol based markers) before colouring with Copic Markers.
The sentiment I used actually comes with another reading themed stamp – Stamping Bella Uptown Girl Rebecca Loves to Read. The Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Dorothy the Dreamer stamp comes with a sentiment that reads “May all your dreams come true”.
The patterned papers I used come from a digital paper pack (sorry, I can’t remember which) printed on cardstock using my CANON Pixma iP7250 printer *.
I used a mix of dies from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles and Stitched Squares die sets.
I create my own card blanks using a Fiskars High Precision Personal Paper Trimmer *, a Martha Stewart Scoring Board * and bone folder * (I don’t like the plastic scoring tools, I use a bone folder and have had mine for several years).
Copic Marker Colouring Videos:
You can find a number of videos showing how I colour over on my Marker Geek Youtube Channel. All my Stamping Bella related videos can be found in a Stamping Bella Video Playlist.
Copic Marker Colour Palette / Copic Colour Maps:
If you purchase stamps from Stamping Bella, you will be able to obtain a free Copic Colour Map showing the colours used on the product images seen on the packaging and website (including the image seen on today’s card). See HERE for details.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have enjoyed today’s post as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.
