If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that my fixation with colouring skies and backgrounds is still going! Recently I had some fun trying out another way to colour a background featuring Northern Lights using Copic markers. Click through to check out the card I created and watch my colouring video.
Northern Lights Card:
I decided to take my Copic coloured background and pop it on a card.
The card is approximately 7″ x 6″ in size.
The background was coloured using Copic Markers UK link*/US link* on Make it Colour Blending Card.
I also used a Copic Various Ink 0 Colourless Blender Refill UK link*/US link* and a cheap fan brush to enhance the effect. I added some extra brighter stars using a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen UK link*/US link*.
I simply trimmed my coloured piece using my Fiskars Personal Trimmer UK link*/US link* and mounted it on Core’dinations Black Cat cardstock UK link*/US link* and layered with a silver glitter card UK link*/US link*.
I die cut the Avery Elle Amazing sentiment UK link*/US link* from a white pearlescent card UK link*/US link* and popped it over the background.
Northern Lights using Copic Markers Video:
You can watch me colouring the background in the video below or in HD over on YouTube.
You should be able to see the Copic colours I used in the video.
