This week for Marker Geek Monday over on the Stamping Bella blog I’ve been playing with the current Stamp of the Month for July 2017 – the adorable Petunia has a Party. Read on to check out my card and Copic colouring video!
Petunia has a Party:
Petunia has a Party is the current July 2017 Stamp of the Month, which means that until the end of July the stamp set is discounted by a fantastic 20%. You can find the new Stamp of the Month each month by checking out the banners on the main page of the Stamping Bella website.
This particular stamp is fantastic for year round birthdays and other celebrations, and it is a lot of fun to colour!
I realised that I haven’t done colouring videos for some of these older stamps, so it seemed like time to rectify that! I’ll be filming the colouring process for more of the WOODSIES range very soon. Watch today’s video further down in this post!
Petunia has a Party Card:
As you can see, I decided to go with some different colours for the chicks on this one – they don’t always have to be yellow (although they are adorable that way).
I cut the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from silver glitter cardstock using a Paper Smooches die. The words are connected on the die-cut, I just cut them apart to position on my card.
I used my Distress Oxides to colour some old Prima Marketing Inc 6×6 paper to suit my card, for the die cut frame and the mat.
