I couldn’t share this one before Christmas for a couple of reasons. The biggest would be that I only finished it a few days before Christmas, and second I wanted the recipient to be surprised (she reads my blog, so… 😉 )!
Warm & Feathered Hugs Star Decoration
I have a little stash of wooden shapes and plaques that I have been hoarding for a while. I kept meaning to try colouring on some of them with coloured pencils, then never got round to it. So, when I decided I wanted to make a Christmas gift for a friend, and the new Stacey Yacula set arrived from MFT Stamps, it was the perfect match! I was a little surprised how well it went for the first attempt.
Is that little owl not adorable? Absolutely love it. The stamp set is Warm & Feathered Hugs from My Favorite Things. You can find this stamp set here in the UK/Europe at Dies to Die For HERE.
I stamped the owl directly on to the wooden star using MFT Extreme Black Ink, then coloured the whole scene using Polychromos pencils and Sansodor blending solution.
Thanks for stopping by!
