I’ve got a couple of fun clean and simple cards that are perfect for boy birthdays (or dino loving girls like myself) to share today.
Stamping Bella Set of Dinos & Cave Kids Cards
First things first, yes I’m being a little whimsical and channelling The Flintstones by putting together the Stamping Bella cave kids and dinosaur stamps. Moving on! Stamping Bella have some adorable and fun cave kids and dinosaur themed stamps. I’ve used a few of them on my cards today, and will link to them all below. I will also re-share my previously published Copic colouring videos for everything at the end of the post, showing how I coloured the images used on my cards.
Here’s the first card I created. How cute?
Stamps Used: Cave Kids stamp set, Set of Dinos, Cave Kids Backdrop, Birthday Sentiment Set
I stamped the images using My Favorite Things Extreme Black hybrid ink on Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring with Copic Markers. The sentiment was stamped on black card using Versamark ink and then heat embossed using white embossing powder.
Card number two! I used more of the dinosaurs from the Set of Dinos stamp set on this one.
They make for a cute, fun card don’t they?
On both cards I created the frame for the backdrop using one of the dies from the My Favorite Things Inside & Out Stitched Circle Stax die set. The character, dinos and sentiments are popped up using varying thickness of foam pads to create dimension.
NOTE: if you’re in the UK/Europe you can find Stamping Bella stamps and dies at Dies to Die For here in the UK, including the latest releases.
