Are you sitting comfortably? If not, you might want to remedy that so you can settle in and watch me colouring a cute farm scene! Today’s video includes commentary, so you can enjoy me waffling about colouring, and hopefully pick up some useful tips.
Cute Farm Scene Card
I really enjoy putting together scenes using Stacey Yacula’s rubber stamp designs, they are just so sweet and appealing. The process has recently become much easier too, as Purple Onion Designs have released some clear mounting stamps to ease the process. I’ll talk about them more in another post, hopefully with a video to show them in action, but they enable you to use bare rubber stamps easily in your MISTI stamp platform, or with acrylic blocks. Think of them like Tack n Peel, but removable!
Stamps Used: Clear Mounting Stamps, Eloise (hen), Flo, Mo & Bo (3 chicks), Farm Horizon, Journey Sentiment Set
Other supplies used: Make it Colour Blending Card, MFT Extreme Black Hybrid Ink, Ranger Archival Shadow Grey ink
You will find a full list of Copic markers used below the video. In the video you will see each colour on screen as I use it, so you can get a good idea of how I colour!

Oh Elaine I loved how you said in your email not to fall off our chairs because you did a voiceover. I think I almost did a few days ago when I watched this on youtube. I just love your accent and I’m not sure why but I just assume everyone is from the US. Silly of me. So hearing your voice throws me off. But you know I love it. I like all of your coloring tutorials. Keep up the hard work you really have great talent. Hugs
Hehe!! Thank you, as always, Vanessa!
