Orcas or Killer Whales have always been one of my favourite animals. Happily our oldest niece loves them too, so I had a great excuse to play with an adorable new Whimsy Stamps set to create her birthday card!
Whale of a Time Orca Card
I decided to do a little “no line” colouring for this one, and create a shaker card – two more of my favourite things. In the stamp set you also get a dolphin and a blue whale, all adorably illustrated by Crissy Armstrong.
Stamps used: Whimsy Stamps Whale of a Time clear stamp set *
I stamped the image on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card using Inkon3 Fadeout No Line Detail Ink before colouring with Copic Markers. I also finished off with some Polychromos coloured pencils; everything is listed below.
To create the card front and shaker windows I used the Mama Elephant Star Grid Window die, layered multiple times. The little pink star shaker bits are from Little Things from Lucy’s Cards.
The paper behind the shaker windows is a piece I created a while ago when playing around using Alcohol Inks on glossy paper!
Copic Markers Used:

Faber-Castell Polychromos Used:
