I’ve got another card to share featuring some of the gorgeous new Stacey Yacula stamps from Purple Onion Designs. There are so many fun scene possibilities – I’ve got a full page of ideas in my notepad. The Pine Cone Trail collection is obviously perfect for Christmas cards, but it’s also great for creating winter birthday card designs too.
Ice Hockey Scene Card
This time I opted to colour all of the elements in my scene separately and then fussy cut the characters to build the scene. I love stamping and masking to create one layer scenes, but this way is a little less stressful sometimes, and so much fun.
Stamps Used: Storm (hockey penguin), Iclyn (hockey bunny), Frozen Pond (horizon), Warming Winter Thoughts sentiment set, Carnival/Fair blurbs, Clear Mounting Stamps,
I stamped the images on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring with Copic Markers. The jumbo scalloped border is an old MFT Dienamics die.
Special Offer:
Until this Friday – 8th November 2019 – you can buy the whole Pine Cone Trail collection as a bundle with a whopping 30% off! After this the stamps will only be available individually. The new Warming Winter Thoughts sentiment set and Rosemary the Turkey are not included in the bundle.

In my capacity as a design team member for Purple Onion Designs, I receive stamps to work with from the company. I also have a collection of Purple Onion Designs stamps that I have purchased myself. Whether using stamps I have been sent, or stamps I have purchased, all opinions and creative decisions remain my own. I only work with companies/use products that I love.
