Here we are, the day before the main event! I hope that whatever you are doing, however you celebrate, wherever you are, that you have a wonderful Christmas. If for any reason Christmas isn’t so wonderful this year, please know that you’re not alone, and it’s okay if you’re not really in the festive mood. Ours is bittersweet this year, without our little four legged star, so I’m extra thankful for family and especially our lovely nieces and nephews.
I will leave you with my final Christmas card for 2019, a Christmas wishes scene card that I had great fun stamping and colouring. I’ve also included some links to some older posts and videos that you might find helpful if you would like to create stamped scenes like this.
Christmas Wishes Scene Card
This one is very much a celebration of Stacey Yacula’s beautiful rubber stamps from Purple Onion Designs.
Stamps Used: Bianca & Neve (snowman & winter bird), Lamp Post, Winter Sports Set (bells), Scout (horse pulling sleigh), Ace (bunny with top hat), Pepper (winter bunny with gift), Mabel (winter cardinal with gifts), Presents, Sentiment from an old Waltzing Mouse Stamps set.
I stamped the image on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring with Copic Markers. I finished the image off by adding some extra shadows using my trusty Faber-Castell Polychromos pencil* in Dark Sepia. Falling snow was added using a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen* and I also added some Ranger Glossy Accents* to the glass on the lamp post and Wink of Stella clear glitter pen* to a few areas.

In my capacity as a design team member for Purple Onion Designs, I receive stamps to work with from the company. I also have a collection of Purple Onion Designs stamps that I have purchased myself. Whether using stamps I have been sent, or stamps I have purchased, all opinions and creative decisions remain my own. I only work with companies/use products that I love.
