The little mouse stamp on today’s card is one I’ve used a few times now. You will no doubt see it again, because it is one of my favourites! Stick with me for all of the details on this cute mouse congratulations card, including full coloured pencil information.
Cute Mouse Congratulations Card
Just so very cute!
Stamps Used: Dolly (mouse 1st prize), Fair accessories (barrel), Carnival/Fair Blurbs,
I stamped the images on my favourite card for coloured pencils – Bockingford Hot Pressed Watercolour Card*. I coloured the mouse and barrel using coloured pencils, only using the pencils themselves to blend. For the background I used a blending stump and some Winsor & Newton Sansodor* (Jackson’s Art Link*) to soften and smooth it out.
Coloured Pencils Used:
To colour my image, I used Caran D’Ache Pablo pencils* (Jackson’s Art link*). I already had a few of these in my stash, but bought a full set of these in December, and am loving them.

Mouse: Brownish Beige, Granite Rose / Sepia, Brownish Beige, Ash Grey
Prize Ribbon: Brown Ochre, Golden Ochre, Orangish Yellow / Mahogany, Scarlet, Salmon Pink
Barrel: Sepia, Mahogany, Brown Ochre, Ash Grey

In my capacity as a design team member for Purple Onion Designs, I receive stamps to work with from the company. I also have a collection of Purple Onion Designs stamps that I have purchased myself. Whether using stamps I have been sent, or stamps I have purchased, all opinions and creative decisions remain my own. I only work with companies/use products that I love.
