I’ve got a great video for you today, sharing a couple of really useful ideas. Firstly I’m talking about the benefits of using photo references when colouring. I don’t always do it, but when I do it is always useful. It really helped me give this image some detail that was lacking when I’ve coloured it in the past. Secondly I’m showing you how to create a sparkly effect without using any glitter pens or glitter. No glitter sparkle – pretty useful, and can be applied to so many images. Watch the video below.
If you want all of the sparkle, you can check out my Creating a Sparkly Sequin Effect using Glitter Pens post. Either way, I’ve got you covered!
Macaron Bouquet Card
I actually created two cards for my stash, as I coloured the image once before deciding to do a video. You can see the second card towards the end of this post.
Stamps Used: Stamping Bella Macaron Bouquet, Penny Black Sprinkles & Smiles sentiment set
I stamped the image on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring with Copic Markers* and a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen*.
