Purple Onion Designs had a little release a couple of weeks ago, with some adorable new stamps by Julian Charlton. My package was delayed due to a certain global problem that shall remain nameless, so I couldn’t participate in the release fun. My stamps finally arrived yesterday though, so I got them inked up straight away! Watch my Lottie’s Gang pencil video below to see how I coloured up the Squad Hug stamp.
Lottie’s Gang Squad Hug Card
I just had to get this one, and the other ones featuring the piggies! I don’t know why, but my pig colouring phase is still going…
Stamps Used: Clear Mounting Stamp, Lottie’s Gang Squad Hug set
I stamped the image on Bazzill Basics Kraft card* before colouring with Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils* (see below for full list). While I do have the full set of Prismacolor pencils, I challenged myself to use only colours available in the 24pc Portrait Set*. This meant I had to get a little creative when it came to the grass, but hopefully it shows that you don’t have to have a full set to have fun.
I kept the card really simply, just framing the image using a die from the MFT Dienamics Stitched Scallop Circle Frames set. I gently curved the sentiment on my clear mounting stamp in my MISTI.

In my capacity as a design team member for Purple Onion Designs, I receive stamps to work with from the company. I also have a collection of Purple Onion Designs stamps that I have purchased myself. Whether using stamps I have been sent, or stamps I have purchased, all opinions and creative decisions remain my own. I only work with companies/use products that I love.
