It is MerMay, so at least one mermaid card had to pop up here this month! Hopefully this won’t be the only one. Perfect excuse to create a scene card using the Oddball Mermaid set from Stamping Bella. There’s no video today, but I hope you enjoy my Oddball Mermaid scene card. Full pencil details can be found below.
Oddball Mermaid Scene Card
I’ve been meaning to put a scene together with Oddball Mermaid for a while. I knew I wanted to colour her using coloured pencils, but I was feeling a little lazy. Thankfully I had an aha moment when I saw some blue card in my drawer. Just a hint of pencil along the line of the sandy ocean floor, and it gives it enough life without inducing serious hand cramp!
Stamps Used: Oddball Mermaid stamp set, Under the Sea Backdrop, Under the Sea Sentiment set
I stamped the scene on some random blue card I had in my drawer! For masking I use Eclipse Masking Tape*. I coloured the scene using Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils*.
