I wish I’d been able to create all of the cards I’d planned to during MerMay, but the universe had other plans! Here’s a final one for this month, but mermaids aren’t just for May, so you can expect more fun over the summer months. I love how this Dolphin Hugs mermaid scene card turned out, featuring some digis from Sweet November Stamps. There is a video to go with this card, and you can find out how you can access that towards the end of this post.

Dolphin Hugs Mermaid Scene Card

The adorable Dolphin Hugs digi that I used in this scene was the Sweet November Stamps April newsletter subscriber freebie. You can purchase her in the store now using the link below, but if you don’t want to miss out on future freebies make sure you sign up for the newsletter. Sweet November Stamps only send one newsletter at the end of each month, and each time there’s a freebie. You will find the sign up at the bottom of the page on their website.

Copic marker coloured scene card inspiration & video featuring the Sweet November Stamps Dolphin Hugs and Mermazing Friends Cari & Neo digital stamps.

Digital Stamps Used: DOLPHIN HUGS, MERMAZING FRIENDS CARI & NEO, EMPOWERING SENTIMENT PACK,

I didn’t colour the background, using Adobe Photoshop I layered the images and sentiment on top of some digital scrapbook paper I found (sorry, can’t remember where) and printed it all together. The fact that Sweet November Stamps come as PNG files with transparent backgrounds makes this really easy to do, and it’s a great way to create a stunning scene even when you don’t have the time to colour a full background.

I printed the image on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring with Copic Markers.
