I’ve got another card featuring Pinkfresh Studio’s Amazing Things floral image today, but this time I used the press plate and stencil set! Check out my Amazing Things stenciled card below and let me know what you think in the comments section. If you missed my cards using the clear stamp set with alcohol marker colouring, you can see those HERE and HERE.

Pinkfresh Studios Amazing Things

I am loving the Spellbinders Betterpress system. You may have noticed that I have been using it a lot for sentiments on my cards, and that is definitely my favourite use for it so far. I’ve also picked up a few background plates that I think I’m going to love using it with too. But today I’ve used a press plate for the focal image and sentiment on my card!

Handmade card inspiration featuring the Spellbinders Betterpress system with Pinkfresh Studio Amazing Things press plate and coordinating stencils.

I love that other companies like Pinkfresh Studio are designing press plates. I especially love the possibilities that open up because press plates can be used in the Glimmer hot foil system – which I don’t have yet, but is very firmly on my wishlist now I have a collection of press plates I’m dying to use with it.

I used the coordinating stencils with Concord & 9th dye inks to colour the image, which was a fun process for me. Not something I’d necessarily do a great deal, as my main love is colouring, but it is a fun and quick way to colour an image. Perfect if you need a quick card, or if colouring isn’t your thing.
