I’m excited to finally share the card and video I have for you today. I’ve been trying to get round to editing and uploading it for ages… It’s a special one for me, because it’s a bit of a blast from the past! First though a little word about my YouTube channel membership. I had a little rethink and have simplified things. There is now just one payment level, so for £4.99 a month you can get three extra exclusive videos from me. If we get enough members over the coming months, I will try and look at offering some additional fun, maybe more voice-0vers, or some lives. Let me know what floats your boat. Today’s video is one of the exclusive YT members only videos for August. I’m playing catch up because August has been crazy with the Stamping Bella reopening and Summer release!
On to the fun…
Moonlight Whispers Charlotte
Why is this one a little special for me? Well, once upon a time I was on the Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps design team. It was one of the first teams I joined, back in 2009, and one of the first stamps I had to play with from KKS was an early version of Charlotte here. I’ll share my first cards with her below, which, if you’re newer to colouring with Copic markers, is a nice little “then and now” from when I first started with markers.
I was chatting with Moonlight Whispers illustrator Annie Rodrigue, who now has her own line of clear stamps featuring her artwork, including this updated version of Charlotte. Annie has generously given me a discount code to share with you for her website: Moonlight Whispers. The code is valid for one order only per customer, just enter MARKERGEEK10 at checkout to receive 10% off your order.
Stamps Used: Moonlight Whispers – Charlotte, also available in the UK from Crafty Purple Frog HERE.
Ink Used: Memento Tuxedo Black
Papers: Make it Colour Blending Card,
I stamped the image on my favourite Make it Colour Blending Card before colouring with Copic markers.

A Look Back to 2009
As I mentioned above, I first fell in love with Annie’s illustrations back in 2009. So fun to be able to look back and see how both my colouring style and Annie’s illustration style have grown since then!
Oh those early days of exploring Copic markers and doing endless practice with them. Always learning. So much fun!
So if you’re looking at my card and video today, and thinking you will never be able to colour like that… You never know what you can do, until you try, and put in lots of time and effort. Even now, I’m always learning new things, and my colouring/crafting style evolves as I do. Keep going!
YouTube Membership
Members get to see my new videos earlier, and I am also uploading exclusive videos for members. For £4.99 per month you will have access to the growing library of exclusive videos, I upload three each month. Join my YouTube membership HERE!
